About the Program

  • Get a 100% paid, full scholarship to train to become a commercial truck driver! (*eligibility required)
  • If you have been unemployed for 13 or more weeks and have always wanted to get your CDL-A license to drive big rigs or other large  vehicles, you may be eligible for a full scholarship to pay for truck driving school at a local truck driving school.
  • This is a limited-time offer.
  • You may also be eligible for a payment or stipend while you are in training.
  • You will also receive assistance finding a job after you successfully complete training.

How to Apply

  • Fill out the CDL Contact Form
  • A coordinator will contact you to determine if you are eligible.*
  • If eligible, the coordinator will enroll you and help you sign up for the training.

*To be eligible, you must be authorized to work in the United States; be unemployed for 13+weeks; males must be registered for Selective Service at; have a valid Washington State Driver’s License with no restrictions and able to get a driver’s abstract; have a birth certificate.

Department of Transportation requires CDL students to pass a physical exam and pass an English language test demonstrating the skills necessary to interact with the public and employers safely for this occupation.
